iShared.app for videographers
Send raw footage, edits, and final exports at full resolution - built for files that routinely run into double-digit gigabytes.
Video work produces some of the largest files anyone routinely has to send - a few minutes of raw 4K footage can outweigh an entire photo shoot. iShared.app's transfer limits are sized with that in mind rather than treating video as an edge case.
What this solves
- Room for real footage. Team plans support up to 10GB per transfer, Enterprise up to 100GB - enough for single-camera 4K exports and, on Enterprise, multi-camera masters. See plan sizes.
- No quality loss. Files upload and download exactly as sent - no automatic re-encoding or bitrate reduction along the way, which matters more for video than almost anything else.
- Whole project folders. Send a folder with your project structure intact - footage, audio, graphics, and proxies in the layout you already use - rather than flattening everything first. See sending whole folders.
- Client review without a separate platform. A share link works for a client review pass just as well as a final delivery - no separate review-tool subscription needed for the handoff itself.
Delivering a rough cut vs. a final master
Set a short expiry (1-3 days) for a rough cut you expect quick feedback on, and a longer one - up to a year on a paid plan - for a final master a client might not download immediately. Both use the same transfer flow; only the expiry setting changes. See how transfer expiry works.
Working with an editor or colorist
If footage passes between a shooter, an editor, and a colorist, a Team plan gives everyone their own login under one studio account, with download tracking so you can confirm a handoff actually happened before assuming it did.
Plan sizes for video work
- Personal - 3GB per transfer, for shorter well-compressed exports.
- Team - 10GB per transfer, comfortable for most single-camera 4K work.
- Enterprise - 100GB per transfer, for raw footage and multi-camera masters.
