How to send a large PDF

Contracts, reports, scanned documents, print-ready proofs - send a PDF of any size without an email attachment limit rejecting it.

Most PDFs are small enough for email, right up until they're not - a scanned contract with embedded images, a print-ready proof with fonts and color profiles baked in, or a long report full of charts can all land well past a typical inbox's attachment limit. iShared.app doesn't have that ceiling: send one PDF or a folder full of them, up to your plan's transfer size.

Sending contracts and sensitive documents

A PDF often carries more weight than a casual file - a signed contract, an NDA, financial statements. Every transfer gets its own private, unguessable link rather than a shared drop folder, and a Team or Enterprise org owner can require two-factor authentication for everyone in the organization if the documents involved warrant it.

Pick the expiry when you send it - as short as 1 day if it's a one-time signature request, or up to a full year on a paid plan if it's a reference document people will come back to. See how transfer expiry works for the full breakdown by plan.

Sending a batch of documents

Delivering more than one PDF - an onboarding packet, a set of proofs, a folder of scanned invoices? Drag the whole folder in rather than attaching files one at a time; the structure you already have arrives intact on the other end. See sending whole folders.

Add a recipient's email at send time and we'll deliver the link for you with an optional short note, or copy the link yourself and send it through whatever channel - a support ticket, a chat message, wherever the conversation already is. Compare the two in share a link vs. send by email.
